God is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.
God is a merciful God, He will not abandon or destroy us or forget the covenant with our forefathers, which He confirmed to them by oath.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.
God does not keep a record of our sins, with Him there is forgiveness.
The Lord longs to be gracious to us; He rises to show us compassion.
God has put all of our sins behind His back.
According to His compassion and kindnesses the Lord has done many good things for His people.
God will forgive our wickedness and will remember our sins no more.
God’s love and mercy are always fresh – they are new every morning.
Who is a God like the Lord, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? He does not stay angry forever but delights to show mercy. He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. He will be true to Jacob, and show mercy to Abraham, as He pledged on oath to our fathers in days long ago.
God is merciful and He is kind even to the ungrateful and the wicked.
While speaking with a woman who was previously caught in the act of adultery, Jesus says her, “Neither do I condemn you, go now and leave your life of sin.”
God’s kindness leads us to change our behavior.
There is no condemnation for those who are Christ Jesus.
(We are free from a lingering and paralyzing feeling of guilt and shame. God forgives us and we move on walking forward and upward in His Spirit and presence.)
In Christ, God has forgiven us.
The Lord has forgiven us.
