Healing Waters Christian Retreat

A place of Healing, training, equipping, and Refreshing

For over 25 years, Russ and Shari Mason have dreamed of owning and operating a Christian Retreat Center. A place where Pastors, Missionaries, Young Adults, and really anybody can come to reflect, meditate, study, and even have some fun! In August 2025, this dream became a reality. Through a generous donation, Healing Waters was gifted the funds to purchase a lakefront home in beautiful southeastern Connecticut.


Over the years (even well before the lakefront home), they have opened their home to host Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, Young Adults, Youth, Children, and even individuals recovering from drug addiction and domestic violence. 


Their heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and show people His love, compassion, concern, and care in tangible ways.

Come and rest with Jesus

In Mark 6:31, Jesus says to His disciples, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest" NIV. Life and ministry can be hard and exhausting, and it is imperative that we take time alone with Him to rest, recover, listen, and recharge for the journey ahead.
